How to be beautiful!

For someone to love you, you must first find love in yourself. This statement doesn’t fit everyone. There could still be someone out there who is willing to teach you how to love yourself as long as you are willing to do the same for the other. I, of course, am not speaking out of the experience but it is what I have seen and believing is free. I have my days where I feel wonderful and love myself where others I feel like nothing. I will be sharing some tips with you that I follow to always think of myself on the positive side and just be beautiful.
I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything in a month. I’m ashamed. In my defense, I have been so busy, I went to the Dominican Republic and my time over there just kind of ran out without me noticing. I will be making a post about my trip there but I did not take as many pictures as I wanted. But back to the topic! Here are the tips!
By pampering yourself I mean – take care of yourself. Get your nails done, get your eyebrows done, get your hair done, try on that new face mask, have a girls night, etc. You also don’t have to be girly or spend any extra money for any of these. If you don’t want to go to a salon/nail place then just do it yourself. Do your own pedicure, manicure, wash your own hair etc., Spend the day alone or spend the day with friends, whatever makes YOU happy and refreshed.
You don’t always have to do what others want you to do. You don’t always have to be what others want you to be. Say no. I myself sometimes get tired of just doing everything for others and feeling used and never getting anything for me. So say no and spend the day pampering yourself or doing what YOU want to do instead.
This is a big one. I feel everyone at one point in their life has compared themselves to someone. Don’t compare your chapter one to someone’s chapter ten. Whether it’s working out, school, life in general. People always see someone else being happy, doing better and just start comparing their life to others. Do not do this. If you wanna make a change then do it! That person probably worked hard to get where they are now and this isn’t easy! You won’t accomplish everything in one day!
Water has a way of affecting your mind and body. It cleans you in a way we couldn’t imagine. So instead of grabbing that juice, energy drink, grab that water and drink it.
Eating junk food gets us nowhere, you’ll be happy for a moment and then when it’s all gone you’ll just want more. Of course, also be selfish and have that one piece of chocolate if you so wish but don’t eat 10 chocolate bars/cupcakes because it won’t do anything in the end.
This is probably hard to do but you have to stop thinking negative things. If you don’t or can’t think positive just think about someone else, maybe about a new show or some new gossip etc., but stop thinking you’re not worth it, you’re not better, you won’t get through the pain. You will just have to accept the fact that things take time but thinking negative is not going to make anything better and just slow you down.
